However, two measures we opposed related to West Virginia courts were passed by the WV Legislature. URGENT: Monday Public Hearing on Bill to Limit Voting Access
A bill (SB 565) that would limit access to early voting, gut automatic voter registration, and make it easier to remove voters from the registration rolls is picking up steam in the WV Legislature. The House Judiciary Committee will hold a virtual public hearing on the bill Monday, April 5 at 8 AM. Please call (304) 340-3252 between 1 and 2 PM TODAY to sign up. If you can't make the hearing, contact members of House Judiciary and your delegate(s). Tell them West Virginians need better access to voting, not more hurdles!  More

It’s obvious that at least some members of the Legislature are under the mistaken impression that the acting Supreme Court that intervened in the impeachment of former Justice Margaret Workman stripped them of their power to impeach.
