There’s still time to join us in DC this weekend (April 16-18) for Democracy Awakening. Thousands of people will be coming together in our nation’s capital to demand a democracy that works for all of us – where our votes are not denied and money doesn’t buy access and power. includes a day of workshops, a massive rally/march, and visits to Capitol Hill to talk with elected officials.

In addition to Democracy Awakening, we also want encourage you to join national and state fair courts advocates, experts, and policy leaders at the 2016 Fair Courts State Summit: Justice for All, as we discuss the pervasive influence of money and politics in our courtrooms, struggles for diversity, access and fairness, and the solutions and reforms that are needed to ensure our courts remain fair and impartial. This year’s Summit will be held June 14-15 in Washington, DC.

WV Citizens for Clean Elections has joined the Planning Committee for the 2016 State Summit because we care about the impacts of judicial elections and the politicization of the bench on both regular citizens and judges themselves. By joining us at this conference you will be able to share advocacy tools and tactics being used around the country, examine new communications and messaging research, and meet and network with other advocates.

The Summit is truly a convening where people have the opportunity to capitalize on alliances in order to drive towards solutions that will help ensure justice for all.
