American Democracy is at a critical moment.

  • It has been six months since the Jan. 6 attack on our Capitol.
  • Anti-voter laws are running rampant nationwide.
  • Recent Supreme Court rulings further undermine voting rights and limit states ability to require large donors to disclose their campaign contributions.
  • And, the upcoming census puts our districts at risk.

To stop this corruption and rebuild American democracy so that the freedom to vote is protected, we must pass the For the People Act, the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, and D.C. Statehood.

We can’t let anything, including the Jim Crow filibuster, stand in our way!

Join us in Charleston or Huntington for a “Good Trouble” Candlelight Vigil for Democracy at 8 PM TOMORROW, July 17th or click here to find an event near you.

One year after the passing of Rep. John Lewis, we will honor his legacy with candles and music, hearing from faith, youth and political leaders, and demanding that Congress pass the For the People Act, the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, and D.C. Statehood.

Together, we will tell representatives – Democrats and Republicans alike – that the American people are showing up to demand a democracy for the people!

Let’s make Good Trouble! Please RSVP now.

Thank you for your continued support,
