Notice: As of April 20, the 2016 Fair Courts State Summit has been postponed. Most likely it will be rescheduled after Election Day. Please check back later for details or contact us if you would like to be notified once the event has been rescheduled.
Join WV Citizens for Clean Elections, national and state fair courts advocates, experts, and policy leaders at the 2016 Fair Courts State Summit: Justice for All, as we discuss the pervasive influence of money and politics in our courtrooms, struggles for diversity, access and fairness, and the solutions and reforms that are needed to ensure our courts remain fair and impartial. This year’s Summit will be held June 14-15 in Washington, DC.
WV Citizens for Clean Elections has joined the Planning Committee for the 2016 State Summit because we care about the impacts of judicial elections and the politicization of the bench on both regular citizens and judges themselves. By joining us at this conference you will be able to share advocacy tools and tactics being used around the country, examine new communications and messaging research, and meet and network with other advocates.
The Summit is truly a convening where people have the opportunity to capitalize on alliances in order to drive towards solutions that will help ensure justice for all. You can learn more, apply for a scholarship, and register to join us at the Summit by visiting the website: www.FairCourtsSummit.org. Early bird registration and scholarship applications end on April 15th, so make sure to register today and apply for a scholarship now.
I work for the Judicial Council of California and would like to know if the Fair Courts State Summit will take place in 2017/2018 so that I can provide that information to our appellate court judges.
Thank you.
