Jan.10 Meeting Notes; Still Time to Apply for $, Register for Trainings

Dear Friends, Partners, and Allies, 

Happy Friday! We’re writing to share the notes from our January 10 meeting. 

We also wanted to let you know that there’s still time for individuals and teams to apply for a stipend to help Get Out the Count for the 2020 Census. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, January 22. Learn more and submit your application here. 

Additionally, registration for the February 2-3 Grassroots WV trainings has been extended until Thursday, January 23. These events are especially for people involved in local grassroots groups and local campaigns, or people who want to be. All are welcome! Scholarships are available. Finally, we hope you will save the date for Monday, February 17. We will be participating the in the 19th Amendment Centennial Celebration at the State Capitol. It’s also President’s Day. If you have the day off, come lobby your legislators and help spread the word about the need to protect voting rights and fight the influence of money in politics. More details will be forthcoming.
