Reminder: Clean Elections Meeting Next Tuesday, Aug. 29

Dear Friends, Partners, and Allies,

Just a friendly reminder that WV Citizens for Clean Elections will meet next Tuesday, August 29 at 2PM at the Affiliated Construction Trades Foundation, 600 Leon Sullivan Way, Charleston, WV (1st Floor Conference Room).

We want use this time to:

• Reconnect.
• Look back at next steps from the last meeting (Nov. 2016) and evaluate our progress/discuss accomplishments.
• Update everyone on the 2017 Legislative Session.
• Discuss opportunities and challenges to help us reassess our goals and strategy.
• Identify some concrete next steps we can take together.

The agenda is as follows:

Welcome, Introductions and Agenda Review (10 minutes)

Report Back & Updates (30 minutes)

• Next Steps from Nov. 2016 Meeting (including Disclosure Enforcement Strategy, Meeting with Secretary of State)
• 2017 Legislative Session

Discussion: Reassessing the Way Forward (60 minutes)

• Given the current political context how can/should we change our stategy to strengthen support for disclosure and public financing?

Closing & Next Steps (20 minutes)
