Dear Friends, Partners, & Allies,

One final reminder about our fair courts workshop (Monday, June 18) and strategy session (Tuesday, June 19) this week.

On Monday, we’ll be meeting at the Four Points Sheraton in Charleston for a series of discussions and interactive sessions about the state and federal judiciary, the importance of your right to trial by jury, how our courts keep you and your family safe and what you can do to protect the impartiality of the courts and our access to the court system. Two workshops are scheduled The first session will be 1:00 – 4:30 p.m.; the second is 5:30 – 9:00 p.m. There will be an appetizer buffet from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. for participants from both sessions.

You can still register for your choice of sessions at faircourts101.eventbrite.com.

On Tuesday, we’ll gather for a Clean Elections Strategy & Messaging Session from 10am – 4pm at the at the Affiliated Construction Trades Foundation, 600 Leon Sullivan Way (1st Floor Conference Room) in Charleston. Wellstone and ReThink Media  will join us to facilitate the discussion and help us develop a strategy to fight back against the special interests trying to take more control over our legislature and Supreme Court, and advance transparency and accountability in West Virginia elections. Lunch will be provided.

Agendas for both days events are outlined below. Looking forward to seeing you!

Best,

Julie
