Blankenship Election Spending Nears $2 Million

Massey Energy President and CEO Don Blankenship has spent another $750,000 in his effort to oust several Democrats from the House of Delegates in next week's General Election.

The latest filing with the Secretary of State's Office shows the money given by Blankenship through the group "And for the Sake of the Kids".

Blankenship has now funded the effort with nearly $2 million according to filings since September 11th.
